Murat Omur

Murat Omur brings 18 years of investment banking experience, specializing in healthcare and M&A transactions. Before joining Ladenburg, he served as a Managing Director in Healthcare Investment Banking and Principal Investments at Chardan Capital Markets since 2019, where he focused on capital markets and M&A transactions in the biotech and CDMO sectors. Prior to Chardan, he was an Executive Director in Healthcare Investment Banking at Nomura Securities, advising U.S.-based biotech firms and large-cap Japanese pharmaceutical companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Omur was a Director at Perella Weinberg Partners, concentrating on M&A transactions within the life sciences space. Mr. Omur started his investment banking career at Merrill Lynch M&A group, working across numerous industries.

Mr. Omur holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bosphorus University, a Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
